CAN Online is the second largest group after ruralnet|online and joined the network of networks that became Networks Online in 1998.
CAN is a
mutual learning and support network for social entrepreneurs which aims
to:

strengthen communities and attack deprivation in the UK
• increase the number of social entrepreneurs, raise their profile
and to help improve the quality of their work
• train social entrepreneurs to use state of the art network communications
to learn from and support each other
• help social entrepreneurs develop partnerships in the public, private
and community & voluntary sectors
CAN already has well over 600 members and is establishing a network of CAN Centres around the UK.
